Our Team

The PumpHouse as a restaurant is born!

In October of 2011, we hosted our first on-site event, the wedding of Dan and Cindi Pedone. After opening for a few other special events, the restaurant opened to the public in December of that year. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.

The PumpHouse has been recognized as a state-wide destination by various publications. The readers of The Victoria Advocate voted The PumpHouse Best of the Best Overall Restaurant in Victoria for nine years in a row.

Front-Entrance

Our General Manager, Annette Fossati, began her time with The PumpHouse in 2012 and has worked with us as Front of House Manager, Event Coordinator, Operations Manager and now our General Manager. With her background in business management, Annette has brought an exceptional level of professionalism to The PumpHouse.

Executive Chef Cliff Denton helped the owners launch the restaurant and has remained in this key position throughout the years. Cliff graduated from Victoria High School and left Victoria never expecting to return for more than a visit. Cliff pursued his love of cooking, attending the Connecticut Culinary Institute. After working in several restaurants along the east coast, then in San Antonio and New Braunfels, Chef Cliff accepted the position as Executive Chef at The PumpHouse.

Patti Melton joined the restaurant as Front of House Manager in 2016 and has now worked as Operations Manager since 2021. Patti has business experience in many ventures, including having owned her own Victoria restaurant.

Ashley Luster, Front of House Manager, came to us with restaurant experience in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Also, with a great smile, attitude and work ethic!
